To access your account, you will need your PRAN, password, date of birth, and a captcha. You will also need to enter your OTP, generated against your registered contact number, in order to login. If you don’t know your PRAN, then you can search for it in the NSDL e-Gov app or contact ICICI Bank. You’ll need to use these details to login to your NPS account.
ICICI Bank
ICICI Bank offers a convenient way to invest in NPS – online! All you need to do is register for NPS, provide your PAN card and Aadhaar number, and upload a scanned image of your signature. If you have an existing ICICI Bank account, you can simply log into it to continue. To open an NPS account, you must have a savings or checking account in the bank.
If you want to invest in the National Pension Scheme (NPS), you can choose from two investment options: Active Choice and Auto Choice. Active Choice gives you the freedom to choose between four types of investment funds, and Auto Choice lets you invest in a combination of funds based on risk profile. With these two options, you can choose which type of investment you’d prefer. Once you’re settled, you can switch between them whenever you wish, depending on your needs.
After you’ve completed the online form, you’ll receive an OTP. Your PRAN will be sent via SMS to your registered mobile number. You can then login to your NPS account using this PRAN. Alternatively, you can visit a point of presence (PoP) to complete the application process. Upon approval, you will be able to update the details in your account, such as the nominee and investment percentages. You’ll also need to confirm your Aadhaar OTP and upload a scanned signature.
You can choose between an offline NPS account and an online NPS account. You can also opt for a joint NPS account. Either way, you’ll need to provide KYC documents and sign the application form. Once your first investment has been made, a PoP centre will send your PRAN. From there, you can manage your account and make subsequent contributions online. You can also log in with your PRAN and password to make changes to your account.
You can also view your NPS account statement online or through the NPS app. Simply enter your PRAN and password and you’ll be given a secure login. If you’re interested in closing your NPS account, you can fill out a form and attach the required documents. Online access is another option for closing your NPS account. You’ll need your PRAN and your login password to complete the closure process.
The NPS investment account has a variety of investment options, including a choice of Pension Fund Managers. Once you’ve made your initial investment, you can switch your investment funds or even switch your fund manager. The NPS account is invested in the market, so your returns are market-related. If you’d like to withdraw a portion of your money, you can do so by choosing an annuity option. If your NPS account balance is under INR two lakhs, you can opt for a lump sum instead.
